Transport links

The Humber’s outstanding location and connectivity has led to us building a unique body of port related logistics, engineering and manufacturing expertise and infrastructure, particularly in food, energy and chemicals. We take raw products to manufacture, engineer and invent products and services used all over the world.

The Humber is a critical transport and logistics hub with excellent rail, road, air and sea connections, with more than 60 sailings a week to mainland Europe.

Thanks to our location the Humber estuary offers unrivalled access to northern UK markets and is the gateway for access to Asia, the USA and beyond through the northern industrial corridor.
